Mya Boisvert entered the cannabis industry in 2010 as a budtender and quickly advanced into leadership roles. She is now Owner and CEO of multiple cannabis dispensaries (medical and recreational) and cannabis-infused product manufacturing operations as well as a co-owner of a cannabis grow operation. Mya also serves as a cannabis business consultant (startup, acquisition and recovery) and an active leader is cannabis associations (e.g., current board member for the Colorado Springs Cannabis Association).

In her operational roles, Mya manages and leads all aspects of the Medical and Recreational Marijuana licenses, supervises the accounting department to ensure the accuracy of the financial reporting and the adequacy of the internal accounting controls while maintaining high levels of compliance with all State of Colorado Department of Revenue, Marijuana Enforcement Division, and local enforcement divisions.

She also has extensive, first-hand experience with seed to sale tracking (from before platforms were available to migration into an established tracking platform. Mya is a compliance expert and creative problem-solver.

Proven Results. Here are a few examples of the business results Mya has generated:

• Dispensary – $1m to $3.5m in the first year
• $1m in first year of dispensary operations using only available internal assets
• Start up from ground zero on manufacturing operation to $1m in first year
• Start up of cultivation operation $2.5m in the first year
• Saved 8 licenses (due to compliance issues), took on $350k in debt; half was paid within 4 months, the balance was recovered through the business – no outside funding required
